Mrs. Helen Carter

Mrs. Helen Carter (aka Stephanie W), born in 1909, is married to Mr. Robert Carter.  Helen was born in an extremely wealthy, business-oriented family.  It was established from day one that Helen would follow in the family footsteps and be successful.  She has become one of the first successful business women in the world.  Her success precedes her husband (a worker at the Nelson Shoe Factory), causing her to sometimes treat him as an inferior.  Anybody can see he is a wonderful husband, but it's as if she's looking for someone of "higher status."  Helen is not home much to take care of the children due to her excessive amount of "business trips"...or so she says.

In her free time (whenever that is), she likes to shop at the swankiest places.  After all, she can afford pretty much anything that she wants.  Helen is unlike a needle in a haystack, wearing her infamous fur coat and sunglasses no matter where she goes, no matter what time of year.  Last year's big headline in the local papers involved her fainting in public.  But that's what you get when you wear a fur coat in 90 degree weather.  (She may be successful but she's not always the sharpest knife in the shed....er....drawer.)
