Mrs. Clara Baker

Mrs. Clara Baker (aka Madison C) is married to Mr. William Baker.  She has lived her entire life in LaPorte, born in 1909.  The Baker's, known to all as the "nicest family in town," live next door to the Nelson's.  She has a genuinely caring and optimistic attitude about her.  Clara and her family can be found in the front pew at every Sunday morning service.  She is a member of both the church choir and Welcoming Committee.  She also runs her own daycare for those few working mothers in town.  Clara stirs up a wonderful lemonade and always has plenty on hand in case of visitors.
