Annie Nelson

Annie Nelson (aka Lyndee S), born in 1940, is the twin sister of Gracie.  Annie is more reserved, much like her mother at the age of 5, than Gracie.  She tends to hide behind mom's legs when presented with an unfamiliar situation, or in the linen closet during thunderstorms.  Annie likes to help mom with the cooking and other household chores.  She is an intellectually advanced child, beginning read at the age of three, memorizing her multiplication table up to 10, and counting to 1,000.  Her sister Gracie's singing annoys her.  In fact, she often wonders why Gracie is always so happy.  Just before dinner, Annie likes to sit down and listen to the "Little Orphan Annie" radio show.  She lilkes to think the stories are about her.
